𐑖𐑠
suremeasure

We usually write the sound made by 𐑖 as "sh". But there are two words beginning with this sound which are traditionally spelt with just an "s": "sure" and "sugar". In the Shavian alphabet, you always spell it with 𐑖.

The letter 𐑠 makes a sound that doesn't occur very often in English. You can hear it in words like "treasure", or "measure".

Now you can write:

show𐑖𐑴"show"
shoe𐑖𐑵"shoe"
bush𐑚𐑫𐑖"bush"
shrew𐑖𐑮𐑵"shrew"
shoot𐑖𐑵𐑑"shoot"
