In the ordinary alphabet, we write both these sounds as "th". But they are different sounds, and in the Shavian alphabet, they have different letters.

"Thread" begins with the sound 𐑔. You might think of the letter as looking like a loop of thread.

Now you can write:

oath𐑴𐑔"oath"
throne𐑔𐑮𐑴𐑯"throne"
throat𐑔𐑮𐑴𐑑"throat"
